Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by relevant laws and regulations or by commercial practice.
① These Terms are posted and made public on all internet services provided by the Company.
② Where these Terms are amended, the Company shall specify the amended content and its effective date, give notice from at least 7 days before that effective date (30 days for changes that are disadvantageous or material to users) until a reasonable period after it, and separately notify existing users of the amended Terms, the date of application, and the reason for the amendment by electronic means.
③ Where a user does not express an intention to reject the amended Terms, the user shall be deemed to have agreed to the amendment.
A person who wishes to use the services applies for membership by entering member information in the registration form prescribed by the Company and indicating an intention to agree to these Terms.
The use agreement is concluded in the following cases.
① Where a user wishes to register as a member: when the user agrees to the content of these Terms, applies for membership, and the Company accepts that application
② Where a user wishes to use, without applying for membership, a service that may be used without membership: when the user makes a payment in order to use the Company’s service
③ Where a user wishes to use, without applying for membership, a free service that may be used without membership: when the user completes the procedures in items 1 and 2 above while using supplementary services, such as saving matters related to that free service
The Company may impose usage restrictions or rating-based restrictions in order to comply with the ratings and age requirements under the Promotion of the Motion Pictures and Video Products Act, the Juvenile Protection Act, and other applicable laws.
① Members may view and modify their own personal information at any time through the personal information management screen. However, information required for service administration, such as the email address, cannot be modified.
② Where any matter stated at the time of the membership application changes, the member shall correct it online or notify the Company of the change by email or another method.
③ The member is responsible for any disadvantage arising from a failure to notify the Company of the changes referred to in Paragraph 2.
Where the Company gives notice to a member, it may do so to the email address designated by the member, and the member shall check the Company’s notices and follow the instructions given.
① The Company shall endeavor to provide convenience to users in the procedures and content of contract-related matters, such as the conclusion, modification, and termination of the use agreement.
② The Company shall post its trade name, address, mail-order business registration number, terms of service, privacy policy, and similar information on the initial screen of its online service so that users can easily find them.
The Company values users’ personal information and complies with relevant laws, including the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection and the Personal Information Protection Act.
① Users shall comply with the matters set out in these Terms, other rules established by the Company, and matters announced by the Company.
② Where member information such as address, contact number, or email address changes, users shall promptly correct it online.
③ Users shall personally manage the ID and password issued to them.
① As a rule, the Company’s services are provided 24 hours a day, all year round. However, provision of all or part of the services may be temporarily suspended where there is a special reason, such as inspection for system maintenance or replacement of communication equipment.
② Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, all or part of the services may be restricted or suspended, or may be converted into a paid service, for reasons such as the Company’s operating policy.
Where there is a substantial reason, the Company may change the services it provides according to operational or technical needs, and shall give users prior notice where it changes or discontinues a service.
① Where a user wishes to terminate the use agreement, the user may request termination at any time through the withdrawal request on the website.
② The Company may notify the user and terminate the agreement in cases of abnormal or improper use, such as where the user breaches the obligations set out in these Terms or uses prohibited programs.
① The Company shall not be liable for the provision of services where it is unable to provide them due to a natural disaster or an equivalent event of force majeure.
② The Company shall not be liable for any failure to use the services caused by reasons attributable to the user.
① The Company provides a paid subscription service named "BakingClub." Subscribers may use the supplementary features designated by the Company, such as unlimited recipe imports and ad-free use.
② The name, subscription period, and price of each subscription product are shown on the purchase screen of the Apple App Store or Google Play, and the user may review them before completing payment. Prices may vary depending on the user’s country and the policies of the app marketplace operator.
③ Subscription fees are charged to the Apple ID or Google account used at the time of purchase.
④ Subscriptions renew automatically. Unless the user cancels auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period, the subscription renews for the same period, and the renewal fee is charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.
⑤ Where a free trial period is offered, the subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription unless the user cancels at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period. Where the user purchases a subscription during the trial period, any remaining free trial period is forfeited.
⑥ The Company may change subscription prices. In such cases, the Company shall give prior notice and obtain any required consent in accordance with relevant laws and the policies of the app marketplace operator.
① Users may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation can be made directly in [Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions] on iOS, and in [Google Play Store > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions] on Android. Deleting the app alone does not cancel a subscription.
② Once cancellation is requested, auto-renewal stops, and the user may continue to use the paid service until the end of the subscription period already paid for.
③ Refunds are governed by the refund policy of the app marketplace operator where the payment was made (Apple or Google), and users must request a refund directly from that operator. This does not limit the rights of users to withdraw a subscription or obtain a refund under applicable law.
① These Terms are concluded between the user and the Company, and not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. The Company is solely responsible for the content of the services, their maintenance, and customer support.
② Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon the user’s acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against the user as a third-party beneficiary.
These Terms take effect on November 1, 2022.
The amended Terms, Articles 17 through 19, take effect on August 7, 2026.
